Sarah Lim
B.A., M.Div., RP (Q)
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in the Greater Toronto Area. Before transitioning into psychotherapy, I spent over a decade in customer service, where my passion for connecting with people and building relationships was central to my work. This passion drove me to collaborate with numerous non-profit organizations, engaging with a diverse range of individuals from around the world. These experiences helped me build a deep cultural awareness and humility, which now shapen my efforts to foster an inclusive and empathetic environment in my psychotherapy practice.

In our sessions, I use an evidence-based approach that integrates both Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Solution-Focused Therapy is a practical, goal-oriented approach that emphasizes your strengths and resources to move toward positive changes and setting achievable goals. Narrative Therapy explores how you view your life experiences and the stories you create about yourself. It focuses on reshaping these narratives to foster empowerment and positive changes.
By combining these approaches, we address both the immediate concerns you bring to therapy and the underlying stories that influence your thoughts and behaviors.
